Pop, Rock und Jazz haben längst auch an der Freyunger Volksmusikakademie in Bayern ihren festen Platz. Zum Start der Sommerferien lädt das 4-tägige „Bavarian Band Camp“ Musikerinnen und Musiker aller Altersgruppen ein – vom ambitionierten Nachwuchstalent über Hobbymusiker bis hin zu bereits eingespielten oder neuen Bands. Egal ob Solo unterwegs oder als feste Formation: Wer Lust auf intensives Musizieren, kreativen Austausch und neue Impulse hat, ist hier genau richtig!
Gemeinsam mit einem hochkarätigen Dozententeam wird vier Tage lang geprobt, experimentiert und Musik gelebt. Wenn emotionaler Gesang auf die passende Gitarren- oder Klavierbegleitung trifft und Bass, Drums oder Percussion einen unwiderstehlichen Groove als Fundament legen, entstehen brandneue eigene Songs, coole Coverversionen in anderem Soundgewand oder interessante Improvisationen. Im Fokus stehen Bandspiel, Songwriting, Arrangement sowie das Finden des eigenen Sounds. Dabei gibt es praxisnahe Tipps zu Timing, Phrasierung, Artikulation und musikalischem Ausdruck. Mit einer Kombination aus Gruppen- und Einzelcoachings bleibt ausreichend Raum zum Proben, Ausprobieren und Weiterentwickeln – in entspannter Atmosphäre und mit viel gegenseitiger Inspiration. Einzelmusiker werden zu neuen Bands zusammengestellt und bestehende Formationen können gezielt an ihrem Repertoire feilen. Im Mittelpunkt steht vor allem gemeinsames Musikmachen, kreative Energie und jede Menge Spaß.
Das Referententeam setzt sich zusammen aus Flo Dauner (Drummer für » Die Fantastischen Vier« und »The Voice of Germany«), Tom Kölbl (Piano-Dozent am »Music College Regensburg«, Pianist/Keyboarder in diversen Formationen, TV- und Musicalproduktionen), Tom Fischer (Jazz- & Popgitarrist, Bandleader, Komponist), Ottilie Niebauer (Bachelor of Music Jazz-Gesang, Ensembleleiterin Fachbereich Musical) und Linus Klausenitzer (Bachelor of Music E-Bass, »Alkaloid«, ex »Obscura« und »Obsidious«).
Teilnahmevoraussetzung: Fortgeschrittene Grundkenntnisse und -fertigkeiten; 2–3 Jahre Spielpraxis; Instrumente inkl. ggf. Verstärker und Mikros müssen mitgebracht werden!
